our story
Founded in 2013, Lensworks Rentals is a professional Motion Picture Camera and Lens rental house with a large inventory spanning modern equipment to Vintage and hard to find optics for cinematography and still photography.
Lensworks is devoted to supporting DoP talent and creativity, providing a wide variety of cameras and lenses to suit any project from music videos and commercials to TV series and feature films.
We quality control all of our glass with a collimator and projector before being sent out. Our only aim is that you have the best working lenses every time you rent from us.
It is our goal, to provide you, the cinematographer, with the best possible optics out there to use on your production. We have spent a lot of time and money cherry picking the best lenses out there and coupling them with superior rehousing and mechanics and then with the latest digital cameras and professional accessories for demanding shoots.
Many of the lenses we work with are from the 1920s-1980s which provide special/unique looks and feel lost by todays digital sensors.
We are currently based in Los Angeles, CA and can ship Nationwide.
